The Process

How it works ?

From the initial contact through to receiving your dream invitations, we’ve put together the full process for you below.

We are often booked up two months in advance – so please factor this in when booking your stationery, you’ll need to allow at least 6 weeks from your design consultation for this full process.

  • GET IN TOUCH

    We’re thrilled you’ve got in touch with the #TLPS team we can’t wait to hear all about your big day! Please take a look through our fabulous House Collection online, but if you don’t see something in this collection please do get in touch and we can chat through our amazing bespoke service.

  • APPOINTMENT

    We’d love a quick chat with our lovely couples to discuss all of your ideas, options and personalisation for your dream stationery. We love to hear all of your ideas for your Big Day! 🙂 We’ll organise a catch-up Skype call with you both and one of our amazing designers. For any bespoke work, we’d welcome you to our studio in Nantwich to meet with our Creative Director, Cara.

    Bespoke work allows us to take the extra time to create something completely unique in conjunction with you both and often involves custom illustration work such as venue or floral drawings in your preferred style.

    We would discuss the complete design process and what to expect throughout this exciting time of planning your stationery.

    After your appointment we will confirm everything we have spoken about, so you can digest all of the information along with our quotation.

  • BOOKING & DESIGN

    Once an initial 50% deposit of your total payment has been received, this will secure your order.

    We then create a personal collaboration board for our couples so we can all join in to help develop your stationery together. It really is a fun, collaborative process that our couples tell us they really enjoy. There’s nothing more exciting than watching the first stage of your wedding planning – developing your dream invitations – come to life!

    Included in your personal collaboration board is a guide to help you through wording etiquette and the design proofing process. Plus we can share ideas & inspiration images to help us all create your dream stationery.

  • FINAL PROOF

    A final proof along with detailed instructions will be uploaded to your personal design board for you to approve. Can we please ask you to carefully check over all the details – as though every care is taken to avoid any errors, it’s always worth double-checking for typos as unfortunately mistakes cannot be rectified once approved for print.

    Once you have approved your proofs the remaining 50% of your outstanding payment will be issued. On receipt of payment, your beautifully crafted designs will be sent to print.

  • PRINT & ASSEMBLY

    Next, we send off your designs to our trusted printers, when they arrive back at the studio we can start the process of assembling them for you.

    This is the fun bit! We carefully put your beautifully designed stationery suite together, carefully checking through everything to make sure it’s all PERFECT.

  • DELIVERY

    We beautifully pack up and depending on your choice we ship out via tracked courier delivery or you can collect your DREAM STATIONERY in store.
